Mike Pieciak Endorsed by Vermont Troopers Association

Montpelier, Vt. — Democratic nominee for Treasurer Mike Pieciak today received the endorsement of the Vermont Troopers Association.

In announcing their support, the union’s Executive Director, Mike O’Neil, said, “Our members need a leader who will stand up for strong pensions and dignity in retirement. Mike Pieciak has proven he is that leader. As Treasurer, Mike has continued to protect and strengthen our pensions; he has our back, and we won’t forget it.” The Vermont Troopers Association previously supported Mike Pieciak in his successful 2022 campaign for Treasurer. 

Pieciak praised the work of Vermont Troopers and said he was honored to receive their support: “Every day, state police show up to keep our communities safe and look after our neighbors, often at great personal risk. As Treasurer, I am committed to honoring the service of our state troopers by protecting their pensions and ensuring a dignified retirement for all our law enforcement personnel.”

Mike Pieciak was sworn in as Treasurer in 2023. Under his direction, the Treasurer’s office has worked to rebuild the middle class through investments in affordable housing, climate resilience, and retirement security.
