Statement from Mike Pieciak - Democratic Nominee for Treasurer

Burlington, VT – This evening, upon securing the Democratic Party’s nomination for State Treasurer, Mike Pieciak, issued the following statement:

“It is an honor to win the Democratic nomination for treasurer once again. I thank the voters for putting their trust in me, and I look forward to reaching out to Vermonters to earn their votes in November.

“As treasurer, my work is guided by a simple Vermont value: everyone matters. 

“There’s no doubt we need to do more to create a stronger economy and ensure everyone can afford to live in Vermont. In my next term, I will continue to invest in rebuilding the middle class by reducing the cost of housing, making our communities more climate resilient, and creating greater economic opportunity for Vermonters.”
